A short history of Beke Proofer Cups
Beke Proofer Cups is the trade name of Be-St Holland Products BV for its bakery division. Many years ago, Be-St Holland started producing cheese moulds for professional cheese makers in The Netherlands. As the process of developing and manufacturing synthetic cheese moulds bears much resemblance to the production of plastic cups or pockets for dough handling equipment, Be-St Holland started to explore the market possibilities for the commercial bakery market.
After discussions with major industrial bakeries and manufacturers of dough handling equipment and first intermediate proofers Be-St Holland decided to start developing new and innovative proofer pockets that perfectly fit / are suitable for most of the established brands in dough handling equipment.
Improving and adding more sizes and shapes
After the first successes of the newly developed proofer pockets Be-St Holland started to expand the market with standard proofer cups for even more brands of proofers, now under the name of Beke Proofer Cups. Product improvements and innovations are always at the heart of the company’s success. Manufacturing proofer pockets with an improved durability and hygiene is the main mission of Beke Proofer Cups as this directly translates into a cleaner environment, more user friendly designs as well as lower cost of ownership.
